1-on-1 SHOOT TO PRINT

Like the previous individual workshop, this one is intended for anyone who has no experience at all or just wants to refresh it. Or for someone who wants to take a break from the digital world for a day and gain experience in this traditional craft .

In addition to the course in the darkroom itself, it also includes a shared walk , shooting black and white film and a related theoretical and practical description of how to take pictures on film. The laboratory is in the very center of Prague , so you don't have to worry about not having anything to take pictures of.

This intensive course takes one full day and can be completed in two . After shooting the film, we will discuss the basics of darkroom equipment and develop your exposed film . During the lunch break, we will dry the film in a dryer. In the afternoon, we will learn how to properly make contacts from your film and then you will learn how to make high-quality enlargements from selected images. We enlarge them onto 18x24 cm paper and usually manage to make about 5 of them. Of course, you can take them home with you that same evening.

• how to have enlargements perfectly sharp from edge to edge

• view all types of RC and baryte papers

• how and why to make contacts

• basics of dodging and burning techniques
